Hopefully everyone took part in the voting process. Hopefully promises made will be kept. The nation has spoken and said very, very loudly that small business is not important to them. I am seeing plenty of posts that say things like goodbye recession, and hello depression. I have many fears that is what may be ahead. Half of this country, almost split down the middle, were for and the other half against. Let's hope that both of the major parties can set aside differences and compromise enough to lead this country in the right direction. I do have to say too... If you don't like what has happened, then what you need to do, is get more active and NOT lose hope. This election was largely won on the backs of minorities and some might say a lot of women. I know not all, that is a generalized statement. What's very interesting to me, is as far as the mix of how the country is run, nothing is changing. The president stays, the Senate is still controlled by Democrats, and the House is still controlled by the Republicans. So when it comes to legislation, at least new stuff, it is going to be tough. Party politics will most likely remain. The question is how much will Executive Orders play a part in the presidents agenda. It will be interesting since the only thing that has changed is Obama doesn't have to care about reelection any more. May God Help Us All!! Justin Taylor
