George Bernard Shaw said ... “A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing." When I was working military intelligence in South Korea I had to master the Korean language. Most of my peers did not master it. Indeed, they couldn't even order dinner. Why? Because their egos would not allow them to make mistakes. That's one of several key lessons every productive person learns. Justin Taylor

All need prayers right now. If I don't see your name, I'll understand. May I ask my family and friends wherever you might be, to kindly copy and paste this status for one hour to give a moment of support to all of those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, worries of any kind and just needs to know that someone cares? Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of all my family and friends just for moral support. I know some will!!! I did it for a friend and you can too. You have to copy and paste this one, NO SHARING... I will leave it in the comments so it is easier for you to copy. Justin Taylor

On Tuesday night I saw the upcoming new movie AntMan. I have to say, awesome movie! It was very well done, and Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily, both did a fantastic job, and they have great chemistry together. If you didn't know, Paul Rudd actually helped write the screenplay to this movie as well, he was one of the four writers. The movie was directed by Peyton Reed, There is just the right amount of comedy, that balances with lots of action, and has a decent plot to drive the movie forward and keep you actively engaged. Corey Stoll is a fantastic egotistical bad guy, as Darren Cross, that someplace along the line lost his soul in a quest for technology that is too dangerous to be on the open market, especially for people from Hydra. Michael Douglas is also stellar as Hank Pym, the original AntMan, and inventor of the technology and founder of the company that Darren Cross heads up as the CEO. Props go out to Michael Pena and his comedic acting as Luis, and of course all the other supporting cast which is mostly quirky and funny, with very distinct personalities. The CGI was off the charts, and aside from a few things which are obviously not real, most of it makes you want to believe that something can actually be shrunk down to insect sizes. The transitional work between full size and small size is achieved with a ton of realism, which really sells the whole movie. Aside from a few points that one can maybe guess at, the movie is not one full of cliche's nor is it easy to guess what will happen next. That makes it a throughly entertaining comic book movie. The writing was very well done throughout this movie and it fits nicely into the grand scheme of all the Marvel movies from Marvel studios, everything is extremely well balanced and I think that the overall reception of the movie will be rather high. Keep your eyes open as you watch the film, because there are lots of word drops, characters, scenes, and other stuff that come from the new Marvel… Justin Taylor

On the plus side, I have lost another 10 lbs. I have also used the insurance you buy on electronics to successfully replace my samsung tablet with a newer, faster, meaner version, but still another 8". Plus, it included another 2 year insurance plan, with $40 left over, so that is good. On the negative side, I am broke, behind on payments to school, and stressing over it all. But I guess that means life is good, and I am alive and being challenged. Justin Taylor

He whimpers and half barks, and his little legs start moving too sometimes. LOL... I wonder what dogs dream about when they sleep? Justin Taylor

I watched the Avengers: Age of Ultron last night... and it was AWESOME! I think better than the last one. They did so much more character development and making them seem more human. Plus the chemistry of the cast is exceptional. They banter like best friends would, with quips, just like in the comics. Ironman constantly making jabs at Captain America... you actually start to care about the characters and there are some touching moments. Plus more backstory on Black Widow and a lot more on Hawkeye, secrets that have never been revealed... Then the chemistry of Black and the Hulk really starts to heat up... Then several surprises, that I do not think anyone expected. Of course you can expect some great CGI, a little bit at the very beginning was not as perfect as I would like... but other than that, it was well done. I saw it in Imax and 3D. If you love Marvel and the Avengers, then this is truly a winner!! You will enjoy it. As long as you have seen Guardians of the Galaxy, you will get something else to be revealed.... oh and yes, someone dies, it is sort of sad. Then you also get to see all 6 main Avengers fight all in one shot, it makes you want to see it again, so you can see all the action happening. There are at least two new Avengers, by the time it is all said and done, which is even more cool. BTW, at the end, yes, there is an Easter egg, however, once they show it and the credits are all in black... then there is nothing more... so unless you enjoy watching credits or are talking with friends, the only thing that is shown at the end, is The Avengers will return. As if you did not know that before. Two Thumbs WAY UP!!! Justin Taylor

McFarland, USA Wednesday night I had the chance to watch McFarland, USA, which was a fantastic movie and a must see. Another true story presented by Disney. This movie stars Kevin Costner, Maria Bello, Morgan Saylor, and Elsie Fisher. It was directed by Niki Caro and produced by Disney Productions. The movie is an amazing true story about a coach, Coach White, or Blanco as they often called him, yes you read that right, coach white in the land of not so many white people. Coach White was nearing the end his chances to keep coaching, he felt like a failure to his family and takes a job that moves him to a Latino community in southern California, yes, into McFarland. The land of pickers that get paid by the fields... where the families have an incredible work ethic that often starts by 4 AM each day, and then goes until it gets dark. But as he discovers, they not only work hard, they have incredibly powerful family ties, and they are committed to teamwork. When being the assistant coach to the High Schools losing football team does not work out well for him either, he discovers that some of these boys can run. They do it every day and they have endurance, lots of endurance. This film is about love, acceptance, and HOPE, something that all of us needs and it shows how just one man, who finds hope within these boys, can transform an entire community. Leading to wishes and wonders beyond their wildest dreams. If you liked When the Game Stands Tall, you will certainly love this movie as well. It is the same vein, a feel good story with emotional pull that is filled with love and ambition. It is a gritty, and real movie, and down right rough to imagine yourself in the circumstances that so many of these types of teens often find themselves. Coach White transforms this young men, that believe they are losers into winners. It will have leave you clapping at the end. I give it two thumbs up and a 10, but be prepared, it can be a tear jerker as this story of love and hope will touch your heart. Discover what makes a winner! Justin Taylor

I haven't decided yet whether the treasure hunt for things you need after you make a move is a good thing that almost merits a christmas like environment or one of the many worsts things about moving. When is someone going to invent a universal cable that goes to everything... I mean the worst part of anything electronic or that requires power... is the million and one power cables and wires. I mean how many does one person need? I have cables that I know are or must be important because they did connect to something before I moved, or something that I know I still have, but of course I am completely uncertain as to what it goes to right now.
