Hachi: A Dogs Tale How many of my dog loving friends have seen this movie? It was made in 2009, but I just watched it for the first time. It is based on the true story of an Akita that was born in Japan in 1929, and then died in 1934. It’s a pretty amazing story and a really good family movie about loyalty and unconditional love.
