I just got home from watching The Hobbit! Excellent movie, but there are those that wont like it and those that have too many expectations. It is pretty funny, yet has lots of adventure and seems to spend a portion of the beginning of the movie really targeting the younger audience. I heard a lot of people say, 7 or 8 out of 10... and I'd give it an 8... I am easier to please that some people, as I enjoy watching movies and watch them for what the are, as I take into account the overall scope of the story. Lots of amazing cinematography, and some fantastic special effects, as one would expect. It laid a nice foundation to not only The Hobbit, but also with everything in LOTR. Well worth seeing.
